- Demolition : This involves stripping the room back to the wall/ceiling/floor frame. Timeline: 1-2 days depending on the type of construction and size of the area.
- Plumbing rough in : Removing old drainage and water pipes and replacing in new locations. Timeline : 1 day.
- Electrical rough in : Removing old wiring and replacing with new bringing the electrical up to date. Timeline: 1 day.
- Plastering and linings : Insulating and sheeting the area. Setting and sanding. Timeline: 3-4 days.
- Waterproofing #1 : Waterproofing of critical areas by a certified contractor. Compliance certificate. Timeline: 1 day.
- Tiling #1 : Sand/cement screed to achieve accurate falls to drainage points. Timeline: 1 day.
- Waterproofing #2 : Secondary waterproofing over the screed. Timeline: 1 day.
- Tiling #2 : Floor and wall tiling, grouting and silicon. Timeline: 3-4 days.
